Well, I can’t help you with the last one, but this is a great website for checking out how much you would have to get paid to maintain your current standard of living in another city.
All you have to do is put in your current salary, and where you live, and then pick the city you want to compare with. The website spits out the amount you would have to be paid to have the same standard of living there.
