Become a Google Ninja

Back in the day, when the internet was first becoming popular, I used to call looking something up “asking the Magic Oracle”.
Well, now the real Magic Oracle is Google. Unfortunately, like most oracles, sometimes Google’s answers can be a little criptic.
It is still the best and brightest of the search engines, of course, and if you can learn some of the more sneaky and less known things that Google can do, more power to ya.
Here is a list of 10 not so common things that Google can do:
However, my favorite thing that Google does is mentioned in the beginning of the article, not in the list. You can search within a particular site, by typing “site:” first. For example: “site:realityupgrade.com google” will return a list of all the times I’ve mentioned Google on here. It’s a lot, by the way.
I like Google.

Have you heard of Wolfram Alpha? Instead of search the web it gives you answer to questions from a data-base of know facts. I find it is sort of limited, good for chemical equations but not good for history. Still, it is trying to become what good was never meant to be an answer machine.
